This article explores the selection of effective peer leaders among youth experiencing homelessness by testing an AI selection strategy versus the traditional community selection process and comparing the adoption of protective behavior to help prevent HIV among the participants in each group. This may have a significant impact on how RHY programs select peer leaders to maximize their effect on the behavior of other young people. (author abstract modified)
