In this brief, the authors describe a web of support as the network of relationships young people have with adults and peers across contexts that help them advance in their development. This brief focuses on youth-adult relationships. The web of support framework includes three key components that contribute to a young person’s development: relationships, resources, and networks/social capital. (author abstract modified)
