This guide serves as a resource for managing the collection and submission of high quality data related to enrollment, services, and educational outcomes for students experiencing homelessness as required by the McKinney-Vento Act and other legislation. The guide includes a step-by-step list of all information school districts and states are required to report, a table to help liaisons and state coordinators assess data quality, sample comments states can submit with data, resources available to state coordinators and other stakeholders, and information to help plan for future collections.
