Abstract
This brief shares what the Children Bureaus grantees have learned about collaborating with faith-based organizations to respond to human trafficking at the community level. First, child welfare agencies should work with these partners to help meet specific service gaps. Second, agencies should connect with existing human trafficking resources in their communities. Third, the grantees suggest setting clear guidelines and expectations with community partners at the onset. The brief highlights two programs successfully working with faith-based organizations.
