Youth who identify as LGBTQIA2S+ disproportionately experience homelessness and are at high risk for family rejection, physical assaults, and sexual exploitation in shelters and on the streets. FYSB has created an infographic providing an at-a-glance overview of LGBTQIA2S+ youth experiencing homelessness, effects of housing instability on youth identifying as LGBTQIA2S+, family support, mental health challenges, and adversities specific to LGBTQIA2S+. Resources and support services specific to LGBTQIA2S+ youth experiencing homelessness is also highlighted.
